Cape Cod and The Islands

At the beginning of the 20th century, Provincetown became a beacon for artists. Since then, artists have found a home throughout Cape Cod and the Islands. This area hosts three industry-recognized film festivals: The Nantucket Film Festival, the Woods Hole Film Festival and Martha's Vineyard Independent Film Festival. Local talent and artists are on display at theaters, museums and musical events that happen all year.

Art Museums

The Cape Cod Museum of Art was founded to preserve and display art produced by local artists. Their exhibits include paintings, etchings, printmaking and works by influential Cape Cod and American artists like Charles Hawthorne, Henry Hensche and Hans Hoffman.
